THE SPECULATIVE FUTURE

For these artworks, I was inspired by inflight safety instructions. Initially, I wanted to do 3 series of 3 illustrations each to depict 3 different possible futures for humans. The first was to depict a future where humans are simply enhanced, in the second Humans all become cyborgs, and in the third humans become robots. In the end, I decided to further develop the third scenario to depict more of the research I had done throughout the semester. The final design resulted in a depiction of the world as it is now, how it could be in 1000 years from now and the process of transforming people from humans to robots.
